Rigobert Noel, FOUNDER / PROFESSIONAL COACH
Rigobert (Rig) Noel has more than 20 years of career and life coaching experience. Rig’s collective experience as an entrepreneur, professional coach, family clinician, sports coach, and spiritual leader has helped him build a successful business that aligns with the personal growth and professional development needs of his clients.
Rig holds a Master of Science in Leadership and Administration from Boston College, a Master of Management from Cambridge College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Education has always served as a solid foundation for Rig. His upbringing in a solid family has always played a significant role in his passion to help others succeed in reaching their dreams. His objective is to help as many people as he can reach through Next Level Career Coach.
In 2005, Rig began his career coaching business, now known as Next Level Career Coach (NLCC). Since the start of NLCC, Rig has positioned the company to partner with the Metro Boston SCILS (Skilled Careers in Life Sciences) Initiative Program, Life Sciences Career Consortium, The Boston PIC, The Mayor's Office of Workforce Development, The Citizen Schools, The Department of Youth Services, Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts and more.
For 13 years, Rig served as the Assistant Director of Career Services at Boston College's Carroll Graduate School of Management. There he oversaw operations related to professional development, diversity, equality and inclusion initiatives for students enrolled in the Master of Science in Finance and Master of Science in Accounting programs. His focus was developing clear career objectives, resume and cover letter enhancement, thorough interview prep, network development and mentorship. Rig's hands-on approach focused on ensuring fair and equitable development opportunities so that his students and clients could compete in various job markets. Rig spent a year with the Connell School Nursing managing the Clinical Placement Office (CPO). With his arrival at the CPO, Rig brought a change in culture that helped staff progress in their day to day tasks by leveraging technology to innovate the work, conduct analysis, streamline and improve operational efficiencies.
Before his time at Boston College, Rig spent 4 years at the Boston Private Industry Council as a Career Specialist. He worked directly with high school students, placing them in various roles with top employers, including but not limited to Boston College, State Street, John Hancock, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Beth Israel Medical Deaconess, Bank of America, The Boston Globe and IBM. Prior to this, Rig spent his early career as a Family Clinician where he worked directly with troubled youths and adolescents in custody of the Department of Child Services (formerly known as DSS) and those involved with the judicial systems.
Rig served as an advisor and mentor for a variety of Boston College programs such as the AHANA Pre-Law Student Association (2011-2013), the Management Academy from (2014-2015,) the Academic Advising Center (2013-2016), the Benjamin Elijah Mays Mentoring Program (2009-2012). In addition, Rig served as the Academic and Career Advisor for the Sonja Lartey Scholarship Fund (formerly known as the FLF Scholarship) from 2006-2013, where he delivered professional development and academic workshops to high school students preparing to enter college.
Rigobert is a loving husband of nearly 20 years to his lovely and beautiful wife. He is a father to 4 wonderful children, and a grandfather to 2 remarkable grandchildren.
Justin McCummings, PROFESSIONAL COACH
Justin McCummings has over 17 years of combined experience in recruitment, diversity and inclusion, career coaching, and teaching in the higher education and healthcare industries. Currently he is the Assistant Director of Global DEI at Liberty Insurance, where he initiates diversity, equity in inclusion initiatives. Prior to working Liberty Insurance, Justin worked as the Medical Staff Recruitment Manager at Boston Medical Center, where he directed and executed the hospital’s strategic plan for the recruitment and retention of under-represented minority post graduate medical trainees and faculty.
Prior to coming to Boston Medical Center, Justin spent five years at Boston University School of Management’s Feld Career Center where his most recent role was as the Associate Director of Undergraduate Career Services. During his tenure at BU, Justin led the development and implementation of career development services and programs for over 2,000 undergraduate business students. In addition, he was an appointed Lecturer in the Organizational Development Department at Boston University School of Management, where he taught career development course SM411: Charting Your Career. Justin has been quoted in several articles and appeared on local television to discuss topics around networking and career development. Furthermore, Justin has held positions as an admissions professional at several institutions of higher education within the New England area.
Justin received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Stonehill College and a Master in Education from Cambridge College. He lives in the Greater Boston area with his wife and daughter.
JEMMA AL’SALAAM, PROFESSIONAL COACH
Jemma al’Salaam brings 23 years of combined experience in career development, education and mental health. For the past 14 years Jemma has worked as a Case Manager for Turning Point Family CARE, a mental health organization that caters to underserved children, youth and families. Jemma manages intensive caseloads while providing the highest quality of direct care. She creates and implements individualized plans and facilitates monthly meetings with each client with the sole purpose of helping them to meet their personal goals. In addition, Jemma provides resources and recommendations to clients, families and other providers directed at improving client development. In addition to her role as a Case Manager, Jemma currently serves on the Turning Point Foundation Board of Executives Committee, dedicating her time to promoting wellness for individuals, families and communities.
Prior to her tenure at Turning Point, Jemma was a Career Development Specialist at WorkSource Partners where she administered assessments, facilitated informational workshops and created career plans for individuals according to their needs and interest. Jemma also assisted the Program Coordinator and provided technical assistance in efforts to outreach and market career development programs for clients in entry-level workforce. In addition, Jemma provided individual counseling and guidance through a new career process based upon strengths and needs identified, as well as information regarding “areas of needs improvement” disclosed by clients. Moreover, Jemma networked with representatives from collateral agencies to provide further support to clients.
Jemma also worked for Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries Workforce Development as a Senior Case Manager. As a Senior Case Manager, she oversaw the operation of programs, supervised staff and ran peer support and post-placement events. In addition, Jemma developed and implemented programs for job seeking participants, oversaw case management activities, developed resources and collaborated with other organizations to enhance program service delivery.
Jemma holds a Master of Management Degree from Cambridge College with a Concentration in Leadership in Human & Organizational Dynamics. At Cambridge College, Jemma was ranked first in her class, graduating with a 4.0 Grade Point Average. Jemma also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Boston and an Associates of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Roxbury Community College. In addition, Jemma holds a multitude of certifications specialized in Mental Health and Education. When Jemma is not focused on her clients, she enjoys the hard work she put in as a loving mother of 24 years to two beautiful children. Jemma’s future passion is to develop an effective youth development program to empower teen girls.
